About M.Sc Molecular Medicine

Molecular medicine studies disease at the level of genes, proteins and cells, and uses that understanding to diagnose earlier and treat more precisely. The postgraduate degree takes that foundation further — into genomics, drug design, gene editing, disease modelling and personalised medicine.

Across two years, an M.Sc Molecular Medicine student moves from coursework to real laboratory research, ending in a project that studies how a disease begins at the genetic level. This is the training that sits behind clinical trials, new diagnostics and the development of targeted drugs.

Open to B.Sc graduates from life sciences and allied backgrounds. Admission is merit based on your graduation result.
