What is B.Tech in Stem Cell & Tissue Engineering?
B.Tech in Stem Cell & Tissue Engineering is an undergraduate engineering program that combines biological sciences with engineering principles. Unlike traditional biotechnology programs, this course focuses on designing and manufacturing biological solutions.
Students learn to design biomaterials, build bioreactors, develop 3D bioprinting techniques, and create tissue scaffolds for regenerative medicine. It applies an engineering approach to solving complex biological and medical problems.
The program is offered by ITHS Chandigarh in collaboration with Rayat Bahra University and provides a unique career path compared to traditional B.Tech Biotechnology or B.Tech Biomedical Engineering programs.
