About B.Sc Molecular Medicine
Molecular medicine studies disease at its root — inside the genes, proteins and cells of the body — instead of only its outward symptoms. It asks why a disease begins at the molecular level, and uses that answer to detect illness earlier and treat it more precisely.
When a lab identifies a cancer mutation, when a genetic test predicts how a patient will respond to a drug, or when a treatment is matched to a person's DNA — that is molecular medicine at work. It brings together genetics, cell biology and translational research in one field.
A B.Sc Molecular Medicine degree prepares you to be part of this work: to run the diagnostics, support the research, and read the molecular story behind human health.
