The Institute of Translational Health Science (ITHS), in academic partnership with Rayat Bahra University, proudly congratulates Sofia Khan, a student of B.Sc. ART & Clinical Embryology (1st Semester, Batch 2026), on securing the First Prize at Talent Hunt 2026. Winning in her very first semester, Sofia has made this a moment of immense pride for her peers, faculty, and the entire ITHS community.
Talent Hunt 2026 at Rayat Bahra University
Talent Hunt 2026 was held at the Mini Auditorium of Rayat Bahra University, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. The event brought together students and young talents to showcase their creativity, confidence, and diverse abilities in front of a live audience, where standing out takes preparation, self-belief, and genuine talent.
Sofia Khan: Talent, Confidence, and Determination
Sofia joined ITHS with the 2026 batch and chose to step onto the stage while still settling into a new campus and a demanding science curriculum. Her outstanding performance and dedication earned her the top position. Her success reflects not only her talent but also her confidence, enthusiasm, and determination to excel beyond academics.
Why Talent Beyond the Classroom Matters in Health Science
Clinical embryology is a field built on precision, where steady hands, sharp focus, and calm decision-making are essential. The qualities a student builds on stage carry directly into this work.
Confidence That Carries Into the Lab
Performing before an audience teaches students to trust their preparation, the same self-assurance a trainee embryologist needs for delicate procedures.
Composure Under Pressure
A live performance leaves no room for a second take. Staying composed when the stakes are high is valuable preparation for an IVF laboratory, where timing and accuracy matter at every step.
Clear Communication
Fertility care is deeply personal. Students who can express themselves clearly are better prepared to work with clinicians and support couples through their treatment journey.
Education Beyond the Classroom: The ITHS Philosophy
At ITHS, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Alongside hands-on laboratory training, clinical exposure, and research-driven learning, we encourage every student to take part in cultural events, competitions, and university activities. Opportunities such as Talent Hunt give students a platform to explore their potential and build personal qualities that no textbook can teach.
About the B.Sc. ART & Clinical Embryology Program
The four-year B.Sc. in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and Clinical Embryology, offered by ITHS in association with Rayat Bahra University, prepares students for careers in reproductive medicine. The program combines classroom teaching, practical sessions, and exposure to real clinical environments, leading to roles in IVF laboratories, fertility clinics, hospitals, and research organisations, or further study through M.Sc. and Ph.D. pathways at ITHS.

Congratulations, Sofia!
The entire ITHS family congratulates Sofia Khan on her well-deserved win and looks forward to celebrating many more milestones with her, on stage and in the laboratory. We also thank Rayat Bahra University and Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM for creating a platform that celebrates student talent.
